I smiled giving Bibiano tacitly reason, just to please him, and saying to myself that Josefina was actually bodoque and Bibiano was a very funny name, I imagined that his friends should be called Tatian, Natalio and Catalino.
Bibiano was the illustrator of the battalion and - outside of the officers and noncommissioned officers - could be the only man attractive to women who worked in the offices of the command. Therefore all believed him to Bibiano when we said that she had slept with that of accounting, with the Secretary of command, with the local military and some Girl of Steel.
Bibiano was not particularly an Adonis. Her hair was light, had a funny mustache and almost always wore an eyebrow raised high above the other.

After leaving the army I learned that Bibiano was the older brother of a girl from Cyprus to all my friends called "Convex Eyes" and has long been my neighbor without my knowing. I do not know if the army still need artists or if the task of mapping has been entrusted to more efficient digital tools and Bibiano is now unemployed.
